WHARTON STREET
London
Demolition of the existing glass factory – one of the party walls was listed.
The existing building was located to the rear of land behind existing buildings as bounded on three sides – very difficult access through the rear of existing terrace buildings.
We constructed a bespoke exposed aggregate concrete and concrete block with all concealed services – fully
high-tec to the latest specifications. It includes a steel self-supporting staircase with leather treads and risers, core ten windows, AC and AV installations, and many other bespoke fitments.
The new bespoke five bedroom house consists of four floors with a lift – the upper floor consisting of a mezzanine floor with master bedroom and storage area, and then a first floor with bedrooms, bathroom, dressing room, and open-plan seating area.
The ground floor consists of an open-plan kitchen and family room with WC, and an external terrace with landscape area. The basement consists of a cinema room, bedroom, utility room, and a stainless steel pool with a fully tiled marble movable floor. The lower basement consists of a large plant room.
