Located in one of London’s best known iconic buildings, the Trocadero, MY Construction has recently finished a top to toe refurbishment of the whole building. Spread over 40,000m2, the project included adding a new floor featuring a stunning new ziggurat roof and extensive outdoor space for what will be London’s largest sky bar. Inside the building we have created London’s first Zedwell Hotel, with 800 keys, plus extensive office, retail and F&B space.
Over 100 years’ old, the Grade II building has been put though many different uses over the years. Working closely with Historic England, MYC sensitively rationalised the internal layout and structure of the building, with extensive cut and carve alterations throughout, including major structural works, a façade retention and cleaning programme of works.
