Due to open its doors on the 1st of December 2021, MY Construction’s latest project, Room2 Chiswick is the world’s first whole life net zero hometel!

Whole life net zero means that all the carbon emissions from the life cycle of the building will equal zero. This is everything from the construction, operation to end-of-life and every stage in between.

Part of the Room2 growing brand,  once a parking lot and now a 70’s chic new build hometel of 86 rooms, spreading across four storeys above ground plus basement. Room2 Chiswick will operate at 89% less energy than a typical UK hotel. All of the energy demand is met by renewables from solar, wind and hydro. The hometel also offers a relaxing public area, a lounge bar, gym and a commercial kitchen. The scheme achieved excellent in BREEAM.
